Eureka Travel at the end of the world, Ushuaia.

Last Sunday, Cecile begun guiding a trip to Patagonia with a group of our clients. They started their trip in Buenos Aires staying in Babel Hotel in San Telmo. A 12 person group from Detroit is currently in Ushuaia, Argentina and enjoying Tierra del Fuego National Park. Here is what Cecile has reported to us today:

“Today we had a very windy day but we could enjoy all the activities we  had planned!
We spent all day long at the Tierra del Fuego National Park nearby the border with Chile in a wonderful rough landscape shaped by glaciation process. The result is a mountain chain divided by deep valleys with lakes, rivers, peat bogs (turbales), green forest of Nothofagus and a lot of wildflowers!!!
We did an interesting hike through the forest and then we had a very nice surprise with our box lunch!!
After lunch, we had a “boat experience” kayaking on Lapataia river. Excellent navigation!!!!
Finally, we arrived to the end of RUTA 3, at Lapataia river, where you can see the ocean towards Cape Horn and beyond imagining…Antarctica and the South Pole!!! “
