Distant Lands, Pasadena

Distant Lands is a family owned travel bookstore which has been in business since 1989. It is located in the heart of Old Town, Pasadena on South Raymond boulevard. It is one of the last bastions of its kind. A small,  intimate, specialized bookshop with friendly staff and great selection and atmosphere conducive to daydream trips. You can find coffee-table albums, guidebooks, maps and works of both fiction and travel journalism. They also have a live guest presentation each Monday evening at 7:30. People sharing their travels, book promotions and slide-shows.
